German club Hamburg FC have revealed their new third soccer jersey that they will wear throughout their quest for european football during the 2010/11 Bundesliga campaign.
All in all, the team had a rather disappointing 09/10 domestic season which saw them finish in 7th place and miss out on European football for the following year. The team’s Europa League campaign was relatively successful. The club comfortably emerged from their four team group before progressing past PSV on away goals and Anderlecht 6-5 on aggregate. The semi finals pitted them against surprise package Fulham. The English side managed to progress 2-1 on aggregate robbing Hamburg from playing the final in their own stadium.
