European nation Scotland has unveiled their new soccer jersey that they will wear during the team’s 2012 European Qualification campaign. The new Scotland 2010/12 soccer jersey is predominately yellow with a dark blue pinstripe down the sides and a dark blue round neck collar.
Manufacturers Adidas place their dark blue logo in the top right of the soccer jersey whilst the three traditional dark blue stripes running down the shoulders. The club badge is positioned in the top left although there is currently no sponsorship logo on the body.
The team performed disappointingly in their World Cup qualifying group under manager George Burley. They only managed 1 point from their double headers against Holland and Norway whilst they also suffered a surprise defeat away to Macedonia. Craig Levein has recently replaced George Burley as manager and he got his reign off to the perfect start with a 1-0 victory over Czech Republic, who they will also face in the Euro 2012 qualifiers.
